After a great week in Rouen, the 45 Figaro BENETEAU 3 moored along the quays between the Guillaume Le Conquérant and Flaubert bridges will leave the pontoons tomorrow morning between 9:15 and 9:50. An opportunity to come and greet the sailors one last time before they go down the Seine to Le Havre, where they are expected in the middle of the evening.
The Village will exceptionally open its doors at 8:30 tomorrow morning to allow the people of Rouen to come and cheer on the sailors one last time on the Village's Grande Scène as soon as the Village opens. The latter will set sail immediately afterwards and sail down the Seine to the Baie de Seine, where the Grand Départ of the 55th edition of La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec will be given this Sunday at 3:00 p.m. A great show in prospect!

Romen Richard (Passion Santé Trans-Forme): “ I had a great week in Rouen. As it’s a city, there are a few more curious people who are less used to seeing the boats. It’s good, we’re happy to see people. This is my third week of preparation before the start. It’s the first time I’ve done a bit of sightseeing, I even did a bit of shopping when I’d never done any before a race start. That means the boat is ready and I have a good team to look after me. We’re going to have to start getting into the race. I won’t be on the delivery tomorrow. I’m going to continue to rest. Malo, my trainer, is a very good sailor. I trust him 100%, he’s the one who’ll be on board .”
Anthony Quentin (JPS Contrôle): “ The week was great, as were the docks and the city, which is great. Having the partners area in the center of the Village was very nice, especially since there were people there. I visited the old city a bit, it’s magnificent. I won’t be on board during the delivery, I’m going to concentrate on the weather instead. My communications officer and a friend will do that. ”
Romain Bouillard (Décrochons la Lune): “ The Village in Rouen was great. I didn’t know this city at all. It was really nice to discover the small city center which is very lively. There is even sun in Normandy! We all enjoyed going up the Seine and spending a week here. I’m not going down, I’m going to start preparing my weather and rest. ”
Tiphaine Ragueneau (Rêver Large), Défi Paprec: “ This week, we did the final preparations for the boat because I got it quite late compared to the others. I’ve only had it since the end of June. We have quite a few little things to do. Otherwise it was quite nice, the atmosphere was friendly. There were people on the pontoons and in the Village. It was quite intense all the same. Since we’re a duo, we don’t have a trainer, we do everything ourselves with my co-skipper. It allows us to see what a week in the Village represents and the pitfalls to avoid with a view to next year if I do La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec. We’ll both be on board on Friday to do the delivery .”
