Founded in 2018, Wings of the Ocean represents the first French association dedicated to the collection of litter. Its objective is to protect the oceans by raising awareness among the general public, children, businesses and local elected officials, while carrying out waste collection operations. These actions aim to preserve marine biodiversity and the natural ecosystem of the coastlines. As a field association, Wings of the Ocean carries out three weekly clearances during each mission. It also raises awareness among different audiences in order to make the problem visible and encourages the adoption of alternatives to plastic consumption.
