Created in 2003, the Urban Community of the Guérande-Atlantique Presqu'île includes 15 municipalities and more than 76,000 inhabitants spread over 2 departments (Loire Atlantique and Morbihan) and 2 regions (Pays de la Loire and Brittany). Outclassed in the summer season with nearly 360,000 inhabitants, it extends over 98km of coastline and 11 of its municipalities border the Atlantic Ocean and the Vilaine estuary. Intervening in 22 areas of action in the daily life of its inhabitants such as issues related to water, waste, transport and mobility, housing, economic and digital development, preservation of environment, cultural and sporting facilities or tourism, its headquarters is in La Baule.
