Benjamin Schwartz is top rookie after remarkable first-time participation

Published on 26/06/2019

Today at 12:37:07 CET, Benjamin Schwartz crossed the finish line of Stage 4 from Roscoff to Dieppe in 16th place. More significantly, in doing so, The Action Against Hunger skipper picked up the award for the top ranked rookie, or ‘Bizuth’ which recognises first time competitors in La Solitaire URGO Le Figaro.

Remarkably, Benjamin finished in the top 10 in the first three stages of this years’ race, and his brilliant performance has seen him challenge not only the other rookies, but also the more experienced hands. He finishes the 50thanniversary edition of this memorable race in sixth place overall.

With many other ‘Bizuths’ still racing, the final podium positions will be confirmed over the coming hours.
