ABOUT
LE DÉFI PAPREC:

Paprec, Title Partner of La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec and OC Sport Pen Duick are innovating by offering this year the opportunity for everyone to participate double-handed in the first stage of the historic French sailing race. Called Le Défi Paprec, the latter will take place on the same course as the rest of the fleet, (Rouen-Gijon).

This initiative aims to attract and train a new generation of BENETEAU 3 Figaro skippers by allowing them to have a first experience of double-handed offshore racing. A formula that allows everyone to taste the joys of competition, while benefiting from the same organization including safety on the water, race management and all infrastructure on land.

For the Paprec group, which has participated in numerous regattas for 25 years as a very committed sponsor, this approach is part of a desire to further promote access to the race by opening it to an even wider audience, by offering aspiring sailors the opportunity to develop their experience of monohulls on a demanding and educational circuit, and thus help to encourage vocations and bring out new talents!
